The Keyfalan Plateau, situated on the southeast of the town of Mesudiye is 134 kilometers from Ordu and 20 kilometers from Mesudiye. At 1200 meters from sea level, the plateau lies at the skirts of the black hill and is shrouded in pine forests with three open alleys.
It is also an example of traditional plateau architecture and habitation styles. In addition, the area is highly beneficial for human health with its fresh air, healthy fresh water sources, natural meat and poultry products as well as opportunities for walking, jogging or having a picnic.
Electricity is available and a large majority of the area has been taken under protection by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry as a hunting protection and reproduction site.
Since the air and water of the plateau is very refreshing and clean, it is known to be beneficial to tuberculosis patients, people with loss of appetite and headache.
