Bolaman Castle

It is a castle situated in the Bolaman region of the town of Fatsa on a passage which goes a short distance into the sea.
It is comprised of two sections of inner and outer forts for screening and protection purposes. The inner castle is on the west side and is made up of very high walls and built with cut stones. Inside is a small chapel of basilica shape. A wooden mansion has been built in the inner castle in 18th century.
The house, known as the Kademoglu Mansion, has been built in the inner castle with two wings. It is an example of civil architecture of our region. The Culture and Tourism Ministry has started renovations in accordance with its original form. Belicesu, Anit oak trees and Yalikoy bay are also worth seeing for their natural beauty.
