This is an antique living area situated on a sharp rock in Bayadi Village, 13 kilometers from our city. The archeological expeditions have brought to light around 250-300 stairways.
There are picnic areas available on the rock. The roof bricks, wall structures and ceramic pieces have revealed that the village was inhabited in the 5th and 4th century BC.
Kurul Rock is a historical place of habitation and it has been reorganized into a picnic area. There is a historical cave and water dispenser in the area. It is suitable for family picnics. There are strolling ways, sitting areas and observation decks, all of which are fully lighted. Toilets and fresh water are available. It also has a 500 m2 parking space. Kurul Rock Habitation is one of the important tourism sites of Ordu.
